Start the day exploring the Mission - a bright colorful neighborhood full of culture,
stunning architecture and the biggest collection of murals in the city. Visit Mission
Dolores Church - the oldest intact building in San Francisco. Take a walk through
the colorful mural lined streets and learn the stories of their creation and inspiration.
Ride the Cable Car up San Francisco's steepest streets through Nob Hill and spend
the afternoon in vibrant Chinatown -- the oldest Chinatown in North America and
the largest Chinese community outside of Asia. An authentic Dim Sum lunch is
included! Taste the famous Shanghai Dumplings and tasty egg custard tarts.
The fortune cookie was invented in San Francisco, we will take you to the
Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory where they still make fortune cookies
by hand. Visit the hidden Buddhist and Taoist Temples.
Explore North Beach, San Francisco's Little Italy, best known for its high
density of check-clothed ristorantes, cafes and Old World delicatessens.
It's also a popular pilgrimage for fans of the Beat movement seeking the
hallowed haunts of the Bohemian set. If you've brought your camera,
you'll get some of the best shots of the city from this picturesque quaint
neighborhood where the locals seem to always be on a coffee break at a
sidewalk table outside a European-style coffee house.
End the day with a magnificent Bay Cruise. As the first touches of fog move
into the bay and the seagulls inspect you before gliding away: Feel the wind
in your hair as you cruise around Alcatraz, the dark windows of the prison
stare at the passing ships. Dwarfed you feel as you pass under the Golden
Gate Bridge passing wind-surfers and seals before returning to dock at Pier 39.
The tour concludes at Pier 39, which is one of the most visited destinations in
San Francisco with sea lions, waterfront dining, entertainment, shopping,
attractions, non-stop people-watching, a carnival feel and unbeatable views.
