Mission District Food Tour- North with Alcohol Pairings

The Mission District is San Francisco's first neighborhood and is the heart of this vibrant city.  It is also quite often the last neighborhood to quiet down at night, if it quiets down at all. This is where you will find 5 different food tours from Explore San Francisco Food Tours. This neighborhood is made for food tours because this neighborhood is made for eating out, this neighborhood springs to life around the area's eclectic restaurant and foodie scene.

And what is better than a food tour? A food and drink tour! Where there are restaurants, there are bars, not that the Mission was ever short on bars, mind you, it used to be that you couldn't kick a can without it hitting a neighborhood Irish Bar. Many of the old Irish Bars and Pubs are still here and beloved by locals and visitors alike, cheap drinks, friendly bar staff and clientel, nightly specials and loads of ambiance, how could anyone not love them? But as older neighborhood bars become "Dive Bars" they branch out to attract new customers and many have become live music venues or settled on other ideas to remain current and relevant. Dance clubs pepper the area and newer bars pay homage to the past, with craft-cocktails as their focus, and master mixologists at the helm.

So what is better than a Mission District Food Tour? A Mission District Food & Drink Tour! Eat your way through the 16th and Valencia Corridor, where we might try food from around the globe, but not only will you eat your way across the planet, you'll sip your way across the Mission. Depending on the evening and the places that we will stop, you will either have two or three cocktails*, beers or wines; you may even have a flight of drinks to savor. It all depends on the flow of the night but whatever the flow or the route, or our stops, you will have a great time as you imbibe special drinks chosen to pair well with the food du jour.
* Drinks will be limited to 2 or 3 total alcoholic beverages for your safety, and per our liability insurer.
